It nominated two candidates in the 2001 British Columbia election: Gordon Watson placed last of six candidates in the riding of Burnaby-Edmonds, winning 105 votes (0.56% of the total). Franklin Wayne Poley placed last in a field of eight candidates in Vancouver-Mt. Pleasant, winning 42 votes (0.26% of the total). The Party has one constituency association, in the riding of Burnaby-Edmonds. ==Party program== The party is about "thinking for yourself" and "being your own politician".
